Emma Raducanu’s former coach Dmitry Tursunov says he left the Olympic champion after she was accused of having sex with a 16-year-old.
Emma was under a cloud of suspicion when she was accused of committing the ‘crime’ by a 16-year-old boy on a night out with her team-mate Danai Gurira during the team’s pre-Olympic warm-ups in Russia on 20 June.

Emma was also accused of having sex with the boy and other youths at the club where the young man worked before his death at age 16.
Tursunov told the Mirror he “left after receiving the phone call from the club in which they told me that after three days they were being summoned by the police.”
He said he and Emma had “difficulty and we don’t know how to deal with it.”
Emma was also accused of having sex with the young man during a night out. She was pictured at the time in a nightgown and Tursunov said he believes the charges were a ‘witch-hunt’ against his Olympian.
Emma Raducanu has responded to the claims she was a’sex tourist’, saying she does not ‘give a fuck’ about anyone – but that is not stopping some from continuing to attack her online.
Emma Raducanu said of the claims she was a sex tourist, “I do not give a fuck about anyone.”
Gurira has also taken to Twitter to refute the claims, with the message: “The only thing that matters for me is being part of the Team GB Olympic team and representing my country, and I’m not going to listen to lies or dirty stuff like that.”
