Goodbye Planes, Trains and Automobiles. Hello, Luxury Bus?

So, is it safe to say that we’ve finally reached the point where “Air Buses” can replace “Airplanes”?
Because when I first heard about the Air Buses, I got really excited. That’s because I really love airplanes, and even though my love for airplanes isn’t that strong, my love for airplanes is much stronger than my love for buses. I can see all the planes I used to fly when I was a kid. So, it was a real thrill for me to watch as people are getting ready to replace their airplanes with their Air Buses. And, with Air Buses being a lot more fuel efficient.
Nowadays, when I was going on a business trip last week, I was getting really nervous because I didn’t know the schedule of the trip, and I knew that I would be on a long bus ride. And I got really nervous that I would get to a point where I would say maybe it’s time to bail. But then I thought, “Hey, it’s not going to be the same as getting on a plane to go from Los Angeles to Honolulu,” where you’re in a little airplane.
So, I’m really happy to have made the change. But I’ve been thinking about that for a while now, because what I would say is that this is the perfect example of why you need to be careful what you wish for.
Because when I first read about that project, and I thought, “Oh, my gosh, I wish it were an Airbus. I wish we had an Airbus. Then, I thought, “Well, maybe someday we will have an Airbus. Maybe someday I will be able to fly in a really modern, high-tech airplane. So, maybe, someday we will have an Airbus. Maybe someday I will be able to fly in an airplane with lots of technology and a beautiful cabin that I would really like to be on. So, I think it’s too bad that it’s an Air Buses.” But, you know, I think this is a great, great example of the fact that, sometimes, when you hope for something, you actually get it… if not too much, then something.
